Tibet or Myanmar?

We are planning our honeymoon in May. What do you suggest Myanmar or Tibet ? We know it is not the same thing... but what do you think it is more interesting? We love Asia and buddhist culture. Someone of you have a good advice?

We have to decide and don%26#39;t know what to do...

Tibet or Myanmar?

In May so hot in my country,but if you interested in Buddhism come to Burma cause we are the country which follow to Lord Buddha teaching way,

Tibet ,that we call Southern Buddhism,very close and friendly to lay peoples.

In Burma monks who just follow of the way of teaching and study and stay with Buddha way,

About weather if you have feel heat and rain at that time in Burma come,visit,feel it,

I have been both places and I would choose Myanmar although you cant go wrong with either. Myanmar is like Thailand about 40 years ago. You step back in time. The real Tibet is getting hard to find with all the Chineese tourists but it is still there if you look. Myanmar may be very hot in May. I guess I am saying you should see them both!

We are thinking more and more to Myanmar but are afraid only about the weather.

Two years ago we went in Thailand in may-june and it was very hot but we survived! Maybe in Burma it is worse ??? May be it rains a lot? and to the sea would be good to go ?

In Thailand we went also in the north (Chiang May - Chiang Ray) and then to the sea (Ko Samui) and despite the weather it was a very good holiday.

Weather is hard to predit now aday. However, usually, until middle of May is hot , no rain but I am shure, you will survived. Bagan and Mandalay is hot , but Inle and Yangon is not so much. Some seaside hotel are start closed on May but some open.

The hottest month in Myanmar is April.
