Will be going to Myanmar soon. Last time we were there carrying own cellphone was not allowed. Can anyone bring me uptodate and tell me if things have changed?
After all they have suppressed the 200 USD downpurchase at the customs.

telephone linksyou can bring your cellularphone but it wont work in myanmar. it is very expensive to own a cellularphone in myanmar but it is cheaper to use it.

No, officially there has not been a relaxation on cell phones in the country. You can bring your cell in your carry on, but it will be useless. Just don%26#39;t declare it on your customs form.
