I have searched on this forum cant find any info on visas from UK. How long in advance do I need to apply to the embassy?

During the low tourist season it may only take about one week... During their busy time.. expect it to take 2 to 3 weeks...

Visum is valid for entry for 3 months (from date of issue)... for a stay of up to 28 days.

Never had it take longer than a week. Just send off your application with photos and cheque by recorded delivery and enclose a prepaid recorded delivery self addressed envelope and the system works.

If you are in town you can also drop off and collect from the Embassy in Mayfair.

I think it is 拢14 but check.
