Dear Simone and Alex

I would like to suggest you one thing

If you prefer Myanmar food and Indian food I will suggest at Red Canal Bistro.

It is in the Hotel by the Red Canal compound. Quit peaceful location.

Address is the corner of 22nd %26amp; 63rd streets. Near east Mandalay moat.

Red Canal Bistro (Restaurant) will launch Indian %26amp; Myanmar food on 28/08/2007

In Nyaung U I had (twice) my best meal in Myanmar. And it wasn%26#39;t in one of its famous restaurants.

Inside the town on the main Bagan-Nyaung U road just opposite Pan Cherry guesthouse (on the T-junction with a road to Shwezigon Pagoda) there is a little family owned restaurant called Myint Htet Myint. The wife is a great cook, the husband - a waiter- is nice as Burmese people are, and the way to serve the meal is wonderful (curries in little pots on the burning coals).

Enjoy
